Fall Travel Essentials
Between business and personal travel, I've had plenty of opportunities to learn how to pack less. I traveled to Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina over the past 4 days and wanted to share my favorite Fall essentials! Fun fact: this all fits in a carry-on bag!
All of my fall essentials work as layers. This forest green sleeveless turtle from Uniqlo travels with me everywhere I go! It's easy to pair with a cardigan, parka, or other coat. If you need an extra layer, try adding a basic long-sleeve tee underneath the sweater!
A parka is a girl's best friend. Right? I've had this parka from Gap for eons. It has lasted me plenty of cold fall & winter seasons and still looks brand new. My favorite reason for bringing a parka when I travel is because it's flexible with weather. It can be a light or heavy coat depending on what you wear underneath. Additionally, my parka has a heavy, removable inside layer which makes it that much more adaptable.
I couldn't find a direct link to the exact parka I own, but here are a few super cute (and affordable!) ones from Nordstrom:
Denim + Leggings
First of all, how cute is my mama (above!). She has always been a huge inspiration in my life and was the one who always told me to pack 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of leggings. Clearly, moms always give the best advice!
This time around, I traveled with my favorite pair of leggings from Nike and favorite pair of jeans from Anthropologie (see picture earlier in post!). Together, I had plenty of options to dress up or dress down.
If you haven't noticed already, I am wearing my favorite Timberland boots in every picture in this post! I love these boots because they are comfortable and can be worn for so many different types of occasions. Even though I have to resist the urge to pack my adorable OTK boots, I know I can rely on these babies to do the job. Best part? They are also water resistant, making them the perfect Fall boot.
There are so many more cute Fall clothes that I could add to this post, but I promise with these key pieces, you will pack less clothes and have more options! What are your favorite Fall essentials to pack? Share below!
